The goal of IAC’s Membership Program strengthens community engagement and fosters a
stronger sense of belonging among immigrant architects and designers.
Contributor and Community members must fill out an application form through the IAC
website for data tracking purposes. IAC will maintain an Excel database with members’
basic information such as name, email, country of origin, current location, etc.

Contributor Membership
Eligibility:

Any immigrant individual who supports the mission and contributed to the organization as an author, mentor, donor, writer, editor, scholarship winners, speaker at IAC conferences / symposiums, speaker, committee member, etc.

The Contributor Membership is on a yearly basis. The Board of Directors has the sole discretion to determine the eligibility of this membership category.
Membership Benefits
Membership benefits should provide meaningful value while remaining aligned with the organization’s mission:

Belonging: Each member will get recognition on the website.

Access: Early registration and/or discounted access to events and webinars and priority access to volunteer opportunities.

Connection: Invitations to exclusive briefings or appreciation events
Benefits may evolve based on member feedback and organizational capacity.
Governance Considerations

Both Contributor Membership and Community Membership shall be non-voting.

Both Contributor and Community Members do not confer governance authority or fiduciary responsibility.

Board elections and organizational decision-making authority shall remain exclusively with the Board of Directors.
